Foundation Repair Fort Wayne IN serves homeowners in Fort Wayne, IN, nearby communities in Allen County and Ossian in Wells County. This page explains where to take a concern, whether it is about our website or about a contractor.
A concern about the website. If a page seems wrong, unclear or unfair, or a request you sent was mishandled, tell us through the contact page and start the message with "About the website." Include what happened and about when. We read every complaint and look into it.
A concern about a contractor. The contractor that received your request is a separate business. We do not employ its staff, direct its work or set its prices. If you have a problem with an estimate, a repair, a warranty or someone's conduct, raise it with the contractor first. Keep a dated written record with photos, along with the contract, change orders and receipts.
If it is still not settled. Indiana's Deceptive Consumer Sales Act bars sellers from claiming an approval or tie they do not have, from saying a repair is needed when it is not, and from promising a finish date they cannot meet. To file a complaint about a contractor, contact the Consumer Protection Division of the Indiana Attorney General (1-800-382-5516).
Permit questions go to the Allen County Building Department for Fort Wayne, New Haven and unincorporated Allen County, and to the Wells County Area Plan Commission for Ossian. Under Indiana law, home improvement contracts over $150 must be in writing, and a homeowner can usually cancel one before midnight on the third business day after signing. That is general information, not legal advice.
Please tell us too. Even when a complaint belongs with the contractor, we want to hear about it, because repeated problems affect whether that contractor keeps receiving requests from us.
This policy does not limit any right you have under Indiana law, and Indiana law governs it.
